Job summary

Good Shepherd Catholic Primary School is seeking an Early Years Educator for the Nursery team. This term-time role involves supporting the Nursery Teacher and the broader EYFS team to create a stimulating and caring learning environment for three- to five-year-olds, while upholding the Catholic ethos and values of the school.

The successful candidate will help children thrive, build confidence and develop a love of learning through play and child-led exploration, with responsibilities including

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent.
• Experience of working with children aged 3-5.
• Secure understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Enhanced DBS check required and eligibility to work in the UK.

Job description

This Early Years Educator post sits in the Nursery team at Good Shepherd Catholic Primary School, a term-time role. The successful candidate will work with the Nursery Teacher and wider Early Years team to build a stimulating and caring learning space for three- to five-year-olds. The school is Catholic, and the post expects support for its ethos and values alongside a commitment to learning through play. A full Level 3 Early Years qualification, an enhanced DBS check and the right to work in the UK are required, and visa sponsorship is not available.
