Job summary

Exclusive Education Ltd is supporting a welcoming primary school in Leigh to hire a Level 3 Early Years Specialist for the EYFS team. You will deliver engaging play-based activities and monitor progress to support children's development.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 EYFS qualification and prior EYFS experience, with strong communication and the ability to build positive relationships with children, colleagues and families. DBS Update Service or willingness to obtain one is required.

The Role

• Support the learning and development of children within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Deliver engaging activities that promote learning through play.
• Support children's social, emotional, language and physical development.
• Observe, assess and record children's progress in line with EYFS requirements.
• Create a safe, stimulating and nurturing learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff and parents.

• Support children with a range of abilities and individual needs.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A recognised Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare.
• Previous experience working within an EYFS setting.
• A thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A caring, patient and nurturing approach.
• The ability to build positive relationships with children, staff and families.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
