Family Adventures Group is hiring an Early Years Assistant in Cardiff Bay to join a warm, engaging team. You will support the learning and development of children aged 0–5 through meaningful play and planned experiences, ensuring each child is valued and nurtured.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in working with children to help them develop and grow.
• Genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
• Great communication and teamwork skills.
• Reflective, can-do attitude and willingness to grow.
• Current Enhanced DBS or willingness to undergo a check.

Responsibilities

• Support learning and development of children aged 0–5 through meaningful play and planned experiences.
• Ensure every child feels valued, nurtured and challenged according to their interests and needs.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and promote a culture of safety and care.
• Build strong partnerships with parents and families.
• Reflect on practice and engage in training and development.
