TeacherActive is seeking an Early Years Assistant to support children aged 0-5 in EYFS settings. Roles available across private day nurseries in the WF3 area, with on-site, full-time and part-time positions from September.

Responsibilities include delivering engaging EYFS activities, promoting development, maintaining safety, and working closely with staff to provide high-quality childcare. DBS checks may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children aged 0-5 within an EYFS setting.
• Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• A positive, caring and enthusiastic approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility and a willingness to support across different nursery rooms when required.

These nurseries provide nurturing, engaging environments where children are encouraged to learn through play, explore their surroundings and develop confidence from an early age.

The nurseries are looking to appoint Early Years Assistants for both full-time and part-time roles from September. The successful Early Years Assistant will support children aged 0-5, delivering engaging EYFS activities, promoting learning and development, maintaining a safe environment and working closely with colleagues to provide high-quality childcare.

Requirements

• Experience working with children aged 0-5 within an EYFS setting
• Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• A positive, caring and enthusiastic approach
