Job summary

Bright Horizons Saffron Walden Day Nursery and Preschool is hiring an Early Years Assistant to join our team. You will care for babies and children up to 5 years old through play, reading, and everyday activities, helping each child reach key milestones.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with DBS checks required. We offer a 40% childcare discount for the first child, generous leave and pension, and a strong professional development programme.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential.
• Ability to communicate with both children and adults using a variety of techniques.
• DBS check required and safeguarding responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Engage in interactive play, activities, reading and curiosity- driven learning.
• Support colleagues with each child’s development towards key milestones.
