Bright Horizons Wolfson Court Day Nursery & Pre-school in Cambridge is seeking an Early Years Assistant to join a caring team caring for babies and children up to age 5. You’ll support development through play, reading, and activities, helping colleagues track milestones and create a safe, stimulating environment.

We’re looking for an Early Years Assistant to join our Wolfson Court Nursery which is nestled in a secluded area near the city centre. The nursery boasts excellent transport links, with on-site parking, proximity to the M11 and A14, and just a 5-minute walk from the nearest bus stop.

The Role

As an Early Years Assistant, you will work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to the age of 5. You will have adventures with our children through interactive play, activities, reading, and encouraging their curious minds – supporting colleagues with each child’s development towards their key milestones.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential – Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
