Bright Horizons Teddington Cedar Road Nursery is seeking an Early Years Assistant. You will help care for babies and children up to age 5, supporting their development through interactive play, reading and activities.

The role offers a full-time schedule, a warm team, and a chance to join an organisation with HEART values. DBS checks apply and nursery facilities include a large garden and easy access from Teddington Station.

Salary: Starting from £29,432 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

Hours: Full Time, Monday-Friday

We’re looking for an Early Years Assistant to join our Bright Horizons Teddington Cedar Road nursery. The nursery is Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' and offers a large, landscaped garden, with a sandpit, racing track, climbing frame and so much more! It is situated a two minutes walk from Teddington Station and High-street.

The Role

As an Early Years Assistant, you will work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to the age of 5. You will have adventures with our children through interactive play, activities, reading, and encouraging their curious minds – supporting colleagues with each child’s development towards their key milestones.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential – Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
