Job summary

Innovate Awarding, part of the Lifetime Group, is seeking an Early Years assessor to support apprentices and their employers in planning and carrying out assessments. You will assess skills, knowledge and behaviours against the apprenticeship standard and work towards an assessor qualification where needed.

Qualifications

• Must have recent relevant experience in the occupation/sector to at least level 3 within the last 2 years or substantial experience.
• Assessor qualification or willingness to work towards one.
• Proven passion for and hands‑on experience in Early Years.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Familiar with MS Office and other IT systems (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out assessments with apprentices and their employers against the apprenticeship standard.
• Assess skills, knowledge and behaviours demonstrated by learners in real work scenarios.
