Childbase Partnership Limited is recruiting an Early Years Apprentice for Maples Day Nursery, Winchester (SO22 6RT). The role is 37.5 hours per week, taught through practical shifts from 07:30 to 18:30, Monday to Friday.

Starting rate is £8.00 per hour with progression to £10.41 after six months, and a further rise to £12.74 per hour after 12 months for 21+ candidates. The apprenticeship blends hands‑on care with classroom theory.

Qualifications

• Interest in child development and building a career in early years.
• Ability to plan and implement high‑quality activities linked to the early years curriculum.
• Strong observation, assessment, and recording of children's progress.

Responsabilités

• Care for babies and young children under five.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities aligned with the EY curriculum.
• Observe and document children's development and progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and management to support learning.
