Childbase Partnership Limited in Leamington Spa is offering an Early Years Apprentice role at Emscote Day Nursery. The 37.5-hour week, 52 weeks a year, includes varied shifts 07:30–18:30, with start between 17 Dec and 21 Jan and a salary rising from £8.00 to £10.41 after six months, then £12.74 after 12 months for over-21s.

The apprenticeship combines hands-on nursery work with training through EduBase Academy, providing Level 2/3 Early Years qualifications, and English and maths Functional

Qualifications

• Interest in child development and building a career in early years.
• Willingness to learn planning and implementing activities.

Responsibilities

• Care for babies and young children under five.
• Engage in practical tasks and learning activities linked to the EY curriculum.
• Observe, assess and record children's progress.
