Job summary

Bright Horizons is recruiting an Early Years Apprentice to join our team and care for babies and children up to age 5. You will engage in interactive play, activities, reading, and helping children learn through curiosity, with support from your assessor to complete your formal qualification.

You will reflect on practice, use feedback to improve learning, and contribute to a safe, caring environment that supports each child’s development.

Qualifications

• Commitment to completing your apprenticeship.
• GCSE/Functional Skills requirement.
• Experience with children beneficial but not essential.
• Passion for making learning fun for each child.
• Ability to develop trust and partnerships with colleagues and parents.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children and adults.

Responsibilities

• Look after babies and children up to age 5.
• Engage in interactive play, activities, reading, and encourage curiosity.
• Support learning opportunities that develop children's learning.
• Attend required training and coursework for your formal qualification.
• Reflect on practice and use feedback to improve learning.
