Job summary

Bright Horizons Maidenhead Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking an Early Years Apprentice to support children up to age 5. You will participate in engaging activities, reading, and guided play while working with your assessor to complete formal training and coursework.

You will reflect on learning, apply new ideas, and collaborate with colleagues and parents to foster development in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Commitment to completing your apprenticeship.
• GCSE English Grade C/Level 4+ or Functional Skills Level 2.
• Experience with children is beneficial but not required.
• Ability to engage children through play and learning.
• Good communication with colleagues and parents.

Responsibilities

• Support babies and children up to age 5 with safe, caring supervision.
• Participate in everyday activities, play, and learning sessions.
• Attend required training and coursework for qualification.
• Reflect on practice and implement new ideas to aid development.
