Job summary

Toad Hall Nursery is offering Modern Apprenticeships in Early Years, welcoming applicants from age 17 to train alongside our childcare professionals while working toward a Level 3 qualification in Early Years. You will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with 20% of your time set aside for off-the-job learning, gaining hands-on skills in a supportive nursery setting.

Qualifications

• Two satisfactory references
• An Enhanced DBS check
• No previous childcare experience is required - we value transferable skills from other roles and life experience, and full training and support will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Supporting children with daily routines such as meals, playtime, naps, and personal care
• Following nursery policies, safeguarding procedures, and health & safety guidance
• Expressing an interest in child development and learning
• A passion for the Early Years sector
