Cedars Day Nursery in Leighton Buzzard is offering an Early Years Apprentice position. You will work 37.5 hours per week across varied shifts, starting at £8.00 per hour with progression to £10.41 per hour after six months. If aged 21 or over, a further rise to £12.74 per hour after 12 months is possible.

The apprenticeship is supported by a Trainer/Assessor, with options for Level 2 or Level 3 qualifications and English/maths Functional Skills. Start date window is December 17th to January 21st.

Qualifications

• Interest in early years and caring for under-5s.
• Willingness to learn planning and documenting activities linked to curriculum.
• Ability to manage time and study alongside work.

Responsabilités

• Support children with daily routines and activities.
• Assist with play-based learning and observation of progress.
• Attend regular training and complete course work.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and stimulating nursery environment.
