Job summary

Downside Nursery School in Cobham is seeking an Early Years Apprentice (Level 2 or 3) to join our nursery team. You will provide high-quality care across physical, emotional, social and intellectual development and assist in delivering a strong EYFS curriculum under supervision.

You will work alongside Pre-school supervisors to plan engaging activities, ensure safety, and support fellow staff in daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for all children attending the Nursery.
• Support the Pre-school supervisors to implement a quality EYFS curriculum with stimulating and varied play and learning opportunities tailored to individual needs.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all the children in care.
• Fully support the key person system to monitor and support each child’s development.
• Assist other staff in the Nursery as required.
