Job summary

Bright Horizons Tytherington is offering an Apprentice role focused on delivering high-quality care and education for children while pursuing a formal Level 2/3 Early Years qualification. The role involves teamwork with nursery staff, parents, and other professionals to support child development and maintain EYFS standards.

You will gain practical experience in a warm nursery environment, with DBS checks and safeguarding as part of safer recruitment.

Qualifications

• Willingness to undertake formal Level 2/3 Early Years qualification
• Good numeracy and literacy skills
• Willingness to gain Maths and English Level 1/2
• Experience with children is valued (EYFS awareness)
• A-C grade in Maths and English preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver care and education for children while undertaking a formal qualification
• Support children's development with parents and plan next steps
• Work with nursery team and other professionals to create a stimulating environment
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required to complete qualification
• Ensure safeguarding and EYFS compliance with BH policies and procedures
• Promote the nursery to parents and potential customers with a bold approach
