Job summary

ABC Studio Childcare is seeking a motivated apprentice to support high-quality care and learning for children while undertaking a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification over 12 months. The role blends hands-on practice with structured training in a supportive setting.

You will plan, deliver, and reflect on learning activities, assist with daily routines, and help safeguard and promote children's development and wellbeing under supervision.

Job description

To support the team in delivering high-quality care and learning opportunities, while completing a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification for 12 months. The role combines hands-on experience with structured training.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering play-based learning activities.
• Support children’s personal, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Help with daily routines including meals, toileting, and sleep times.
• Maintain a safe, clean and stimulating learning environment.
• Build warm, trusting relationships with children and families.
• Follow all safeguarding, EYFS and health & safety procedures.
• Attend training sessions, submit coursework and engage with assessor visits.

Requirements

• Passion and genuine interest in working with young children.
• Willingness to learn, reflect and grow professionally.
• Enhanced DBS required.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
• Great understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Ability to support children’s learning, development and wellbeing
• Strong communication and language skills
