Job summary

Kiddy Care Nursery in Greater London is offering an apprenticeship as an Early Years Educator (Level 3). You will learn to deliver high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5, under supervision, in a supportive environment.

The role focuses on EYFS teaching, developing key skills and preparing for progression to senior roles such as room leader. Training is provided by LEAPING MAN LEARNING LIMITED, with shifts Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Essential - GCSE Maths & English at grade C/4 or above.
• Essential - Functional Skills Maths & English Level 2.

Responsibilities

• Create a fun, engaging, and safe environment for children.
• Teach within the EYFS framework.
• Lead indoor and outdoor activities.
• Support children's self-care needs (feeding, hygiene).
• Communicate with team members and parents.
• Work with children aged 0–5.
• Liaise with external customers and parents for high service levels.

Introduction

Working in a childcare setting with children ranging from ages 0 - 5. Completing a variety of day-to-day childcare tasks to ensure that children’s needs, welfare and education is catered for. Also, being able to liaise with external customers, parents, to provide a high level of service for the childcare setting.

We also have some special days where Zoo lab comes in with their pets to show the children how to care for them.Children also have a special book in which we gather evidence of their work and progress. We also enjoy giving home learning for some fun time at home.We are also a 'Good' from Ofsted.
