Job summary

Barker Ross Group is recruiting for a Class 2 driver in Tamworth, starting early mornings 4–7am with around 50 hours per week. The role involves multidrop deliveries (cages) and requires a valid CPC and Tachograph card, with DBS check. Possible permanent contract after 12 weeks for the right candidate.

No experience required beyond CPC/Tacho; you must be confident driving manual transmissions and able to handle some walking and lifting during shifts.

Qualifications

• CPC + Tachograph card in date (UK).
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Must pass DBS check.

Responsibilities

• HGV Class 2 driving in Tamworth area.
• Multidrop deliveries (avg 15 cages per day).
• Early starts 4–7am (avg 5am).
• Potential permanent contract after 12 weeks.
