Job summary

Barker Ross is recruiting Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a temp-to-perm opportunity with a leading national distribution company based in Bodelwyddan, Wales. You will deliver to hospitals, retail and other business premises, with multi‑drop and pallet deliveries.

This role welcomes newly qualified drivers and offers full training, support, and a permanent contract after 12 weeks, with start times between 5:00am and 6:00am.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good customer service skills.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties.
• Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply.
• Successful driving assessment before induction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to a range of commercial customers (hospitals, retail and convenience stores, other business premises).
• Handle multi‑drop cage deliveries (max ~5 per day) within an hour of the depot, using cages.
• Carry out bulk pallet deliveries (3–6 per day), palletised and route dependent.
