Job summary

BE Recruitment Ltd is sourcing a Class 2 Driver for a Tamworth-based role. The position offers day shifts, Monday to Friday, with early starts between 4:00am and 6:00am and an average daily length of around 10 hours. The role is temporary with a strong route to permanent employment.

The salary is £16.00–£18.00 per hour, with enhanced weekend rates up to £20.00 per hour and weekly pay. Attractive long‑term prospects, modern fleet, and weekend optional work are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience advantageous
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Professional and reliable attitude
• Safety boots and high-visibility vest

Responsibilities

• Completing multi-drop deliveries of building products to customer sites
• Driving modern curtain-sided vehicles safely and efficiently
• Providing a professional and customer-focused delivery service
• Completing daily vehicle checks
• Ensuring all transport documentation is completed accurately
• Assisting with minimal manual handling where required
• Following all road transport, health & safety and company procedures
