King Offa Primary Academy and Nursery in Bexhill-on-Sea is recruiting a Teaching Assistant on a permanent basis to join a supportive team. You will help deliver early reading sessions each morning and support learning across the classroom, building strong relationships with pupils to boost confidence and progress.
The role requires NVQ Level 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent and GCSEs at 4+ in English and Maths. A collaborative, patient approach is essential.

This is an exciting opportunity to play an important role in supporting our pupils to thrive. A key priority of the role will be supporting school's early reading programme each morning, working with pupils to develop their reading skills, confidence and enjoyment of reading. The role will also involve supporting teaching and learning within the classroom.

Ability to monitor pupils' responses to learning activities and, where appropriate, modify and/or adapt the activities as agreed with the teacher to achieve the intended learning outcome
Experience of establishing positive relationships with children and/or young people essential
