Job summary

Equals One Ltd is seeking a Temporary Delivery Driver for our bakery and distribution team in Steeton. The role involves loading, delivering to three Lancashire shops, and returning empty equipment. Early starts and a six-month contract are required, with a typical 35-hour week.

You will report to the head office each morning around 6.00am, ensuring on-time deliveries and accurate records. A valid UK licence is essential and reliability is crucial.

Qualifications

• Valid full UK driving licence is essential.
• Delivery van experience is advantageous.
• Able to start at approximately 6.00am and work Monday to Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for daily delivery rounds at head office around 6.00am.
• Load bakery products and other goods onto the delivery van.
• Deliver to three shops across Lancashire and collect returns.
• Ensure correct goods are delivered on time and in good condition.
• Follow food hygiene and safe-handling procedures.
