Job summary

Birds Bakery is seeking experienced 7.5 tonne Drivers for part-time roles in the East Midlands. The job involves delivering freshly made products to shops and returning empty racks. Ideal candidates will enjoy early starts, working Sunday hours from 4am.

The position offers comprehensive training, 4 weeks of holiday increasing to 5 weeks after 5 years, and staff discounts. A C1 Licence and valid CPC qualification are required.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
• Smart appearance needed, local knowledge preferred but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload vehicles; manual handling of rolling equipment.
• Ensure vehicle loads are safe and secured.
• Perform daily vehicle defect checks.
