Job summary

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Consultant Psychiatrist for the Mental Health Liaison Team based at Royal Preston Hospital in Preston. You will join a well-established MHLT with duties across A&E and hospital wards, providing rapid assessments for all ages.

Applicants must hold GMC registration and be on the Specialist Register or eligible within 6 months; Section 12 Approved and AC status are prerequisites.

Qualifications

• Applicants should hold full GMC registration and be included on the Specialist register or be eligible for entry within 6 months of interview.

Responsibilities

• The Mental Health Liaison Team provides rapid all-ages assessment in A&E and on wards at Preston and Chorley.
• Full GMC registration and entry on the Specialist Register or eligibility within 6 months of the interview is required.
