Job summary

A community support organization is seeking an Early Help Caseworker to join the Enfield Council team in Greater London. You will provide holistic assessments of families and coordinate support packages to empower positive change. The role includes managing caseloads, conducting family assessments using recognized models, and evaluating service effectiveness. Ideal candidates will have significant experience with children and families and possess strong communication and IT skills. Competitive pay and supportive management are offered.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in direct work with children, young people, and families.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse communities and partner agencies.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in multi-disciplinary team settings.
  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Child Care, Education, Health.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload, coordinating multi-agency support for families.
  • Conduct family assessments using Early Help Framework.
  • Chair Teams Around the Family meetings.
  • Maintain detailed case documentation.
  • Evaluate service effectiveness.
