Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting a caring Nursery Assistant to join a welcoming two-form entry primary school in the L32 area of Liverpool. This part-time role supports young children’s early learning and development within a nurturing nursery environment, with hours 8:30am–3:30pm, three days per week.

Working with an experienced Early Years team, you will help create engaging play-based learning experiences, encourage communication and social skills, and assist with personal care and observations

Qualifications

  • Experience working with young children in a nursery, school, or childcare setting.
  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach.
  • A passion for supporting children's early development.

Responsibilities

  • Support children with their learning through play and structured activities.
  • Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive nursery environment.
  • Encourage children's communication, language, social, and emotional development.
  • Support children with personal care where required; assist with observations and contribute to children's learning and development records.
  • Support children with SEN and additional needs where appropriate.
  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, the SENCO, and senior leaders.
