Job summary

Anglian Water is seeking an Early Careers Recruitment Advisor to attract apprentices and graduates across the region, with travel across the west region and regular events. You will plan end-to-end recruitment campaigns, collaborate with Hiring Managers and stakeholders, deliver engaging candidate experiences, and coordinate assessment centres while travelling to sites as needed.

You’ll need to manage timelines, create recruitment materials, and support candidates from application to onboarding,

Salary: Circa £40,000 per annum depending on experience
Location: Peterborough/Huntingdon (with regular travel across the west of our region, to include areas such Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire.)
Contract: Permanent
Working Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week

As an Early Careers Recruitment Advisor, you'll play a key role in attracting, engaging and recruiting our apprentices and graduates, helping to shape the future workforce of our business.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced recruiter who enjoys building relationships, delivering engaging recruitment campaigns and creating positive candidate experiences.

The role involves planning and delivering recruitment events, attraction campaigns and assessment centres, so flexibility is important. You’ll be comfortable with regular travel, early starts (typically arriving on site from 7.30am to set up) and overnight stays in hotels as part of campaign delivery.

You’ll need to be highly organised, able to manage competing priorities and confident coordinating multiple activities at pace.

What will you be doing?

As an Early Careers Recruitment Advisor, you will be responsible for the end-to-end planning and delivery of our Early Careers recruitment activity, including apprenticeships and graduate programmes.

Working closely with Hiring Managers, Early Careers, Business Partners and a wide range of stakeholders, you will ensure a professional, inclusive and engaging experience for candidates and stakeholders throughout the attraction and recruitment process.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the delivery of a robust Early Careers recruitment strategy across the region

• Managing recruitment campaigns from attraction through to selection, ensuring activity is delivered on time and effectively

• Creating, producing and adapting recruitment materials and adverts to attract and assess suitable candidates

• Planning and coordinating attraction events, assessment centres and candidate activities, including preparation of materials, logistics and stakeholder involvement

• Managing multiple recruitment timelines and priorities, adapting plans when required to meet business needs

• Supporting candidates throughout the recruitment journey, ensuring an excellent experience from application through to onboarding

What do you need?

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

• Proven experience in recruitment, ideally within an internal recruitment environment

• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders across the business

• Experience managing multiple priorities and delivering recruitment activity within a fast-paced environment

• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate campaigns, events and assessment centres effectively

• Experience preparing for and supporting assessment centres, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for candidates and stakeholders

• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage logistics, timelines and competing demands while maintaining a high-quality candidate experience

• The ability to adapt quickly, problem-solve and deliver at short notice when priorities change

• Previous Early Careers recruitment experience would be beneficial

• Strong IT skills and confidence using recruitment systems and digital tools

• A full UK driving licence, as regular travel across the region is required
