Job summary

Crispin School Academy is seeking a Teaching Assistant on a permanent contract starting as soon as possible. 6 hours per day, 4 days a week (Wed included), term-time plus 2 days pro rata, with 24.5 hours per week and a Monday training session. The role supports learning for students including those with English as an Additional Language and SEND needs.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to supervise the work of individuals and groups of students.
• A passion for working with students with additional needs.
• Ability to carry out administrative tasks to support the SEND team in the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning.

Responsibilities

• As Teaching Assistant your role will be to support learning with individuals and groups of students.
• You will work with students who use English as an Additional Language (EAL).
• You will be part of the SEND team led by the SENDCo and supported by the Assistant SENDCo.
