SEN Teaching Assistant

Locations: East London (Hackney, Waltham Forest, Romford)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term
Salary: £480 - £580 per week
Start Date: ASAP

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people with special educational needs? We're looking for dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join our specialist schools in East London.

These thriving, inclusive schools cater to pupils aged 3-19 years with Moderate to Severe Learning Disabilities and associated complexities. Experience in a similar role is essential, and this is a fantastic opportunity for professionals with backgrounds in health care support, youth work, sports coaching, behavioural management, or special education.

What You'll Be Doing:

Supporting pupils in their learning, helping them engage and thrive in an inclusive environment
Assisting with personal care needs and well-being, ensuring safety and comfort
Encouraging positive interactions, development, and social engagement
Helping prepare and organise the classroom to maintain a structured learning space
Collaborating with SEN-trained staff to deliver tailored support
