We are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join the Finance team. The Financial Accountant plays a central role within finance, with responsibility for the UK Development Revenue, Cost of Sales, and Group reporting support.

Our Finance team provides financial reporting, control, and accountancy across the business.

Your responsibilities in this role would be:

1. Maintaining UK revenue entries to ensure revenue recognition is accurate and compliant with IFRS 15.
2. Reviewing UK Cost of Sales entries and Project Margin reviews to support correct project cost allocations, including timesheets, and revenue recognition.
3. Maintaining relationships with stakeholders across the business to report on development revenues generated by the UK site.
4. Understanding our ERP system and related processes to serve as the ERP expert within the Finance Team.
5. Completing reporting analysis and commentary to explain variances for internal reporting.
6. Participating in the preparation of documentation for the year-end audit.

We are looking for:

• Qualified accountant or finalist.
• Proven experience as a qualified accountant in finance or an accounting practice.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially advanced MS Excel.
• Technical experience with IFRS 15.
• Understanding of financial reporting and processes in a business environment.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, processes, and transactions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build cross-functional relationships.
• Adaptability to change in an agile environment.
