Field Service Technician

Derbyshire-based - travelling to various sites across East and West Midlands, Shropshire, Gloucestershire and South Yorkshire

Days Monday to Friday (0800 - 1700hrs)

GBP30,000 - GBP40,000 - DOE

Pension, Bonus Scheme, Company Car and Fuel Card, Company Phone Training & O.T subject to requirements

A Market Leading supplier of Plant Machinery and Tools has an exciting opportunity for an Field Service Technician to join their well-established Engineering Team.

Role Description

* Attending site breakdowns at customer sites, carrying out any fault finding, maintenance, or servicing on plant equipment
* Service, repair and maintain a range of plant and construction machinery
* Travel to customer sites
* Ensure all work undertaken is compliant with manufacturer guidelines and recommendations
* Adhere to health and safety standards, making sure outstanding customer service is given

Skills and Qualifications

* Previous experience working as a mobile plant engineer, mobile plant fitter, plant technician or plant mechanic.
* Previous work on plant machineries such as excavators, diggers, rollers, dumpers,
* Able to work on own and as part of a team
* Self-motivated with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision
* Confident and professional manner, with strong customer-awareness
* Effective communication skills
* Full Driving licence (essential)
* Ideally NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 Engineering qualification or similar
