HVAC Engineer

Location: Reading

Salary: £46,000 - £48,000

We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer with a strong air conditioning bias to join a well-established team of six on a prestigious static site in Reading. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a professional and supportive environment, delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across a large business park.

Responsibilities:

1. Carry out PPMs and reactive maintenance on HVAC systems, with a focus on air conditioning units (splits, VRVs/VRFs, AHUs, FCUs).
2. Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on mechanical and HVAC systems.
3. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations on-site.
4. Provide support to colleagues as part of a collaborative team of 6 engineers.
5. Participate in a 1-in-4/5 call-out rota (with £100 standby allowance and access to a pool vehicle during call-outs).

Requirements:

• F-Gas certification (essential).
• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or equivalent.
• Proven experience in commercial HVAC maintenance.
• Good understanding of building services systems.
• Excellent communication and teamworking skills.
