Regional Managing Director - Based in Dubai UAE.

The Company

Our client is a well-established global leader in conventional and renewable off-grid power solutions. The company has established a strong presence and brand recognition in the off-grid power industry. Our client services clients globally in various markets and applications across residential, commercial, industrial, telecommunication, healthcare, data centres, and utility sectors.

This position reports to the Group Chief Executive Officer and is based in Dubai, UAE.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Leadership: Develop and implement strategies for growth focusing on the UAE, the broader Gulf Region, and export markets across Africa and Asia.

Manage full P&L responsibilities, oversee financial reports, create annual business plans, and achieve targets in revenue, margins, and market share in sales and after-sales.

Establish a company in Saudi Arabia, including a factory and aftermarket services providing spare parts and support.

Lead the business unit team through effective recruitment, development, performance management, and succession planning to maximize team performance and meet business objectives across all functions.

Develop and lead channel/distribution partnerships for export to Africa and Asia.

The Successful Applicant

• 10 years of senior management experience in mechanical or electrical manufacturing/industrial industries.
• Proven experience in Middle East and African markets; experience in international power and renewable energy companies is advantageous.
• Full P&L management experience.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus but not essential.
• Willingness to travel across Africa and the Middle East.
• Experience with ERP implementations, specifically Microsoft Dynamics.
• Experience in renewables (solar/battery-hybrid solutions) or gas generators is a plus.
