Full-Time Technician Pay Scale: $30.56/hr - $49.51/hr, DOE.

Job Responsibilities for a Diesel Service Technician
  • Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on construction, agriculture, or power equipment.
  • Demonstrate troubleshooting skills across diesel systems, including hydraulics, electrical, and power trains.
  • Work overtime as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment proactively.
  • Work independently and collaboratively.
  • Commit to ongoing learning and training to stay industry-current.
  • Lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Travel to other Butler and customer locations as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications for a Diesel Service Technician
  • Two-year associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge.
  • Trade-specific tools, including hand and pneumatic tools.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in computer skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • CDL or ability to obtain one.
  • Ability to meet insurability standards for company vehicle driving.
  • Legal work authorization in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and quick learner.
