Trainee Tax Technician (AAT)

Location:

Exeter, Devon

Hours:

36.25 hours / 5 days per week

Salary:

GBP 21,000 per annum +

The Role

1. Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within budget and timeframe.
2. Prepare tax returns for individuals, trusts, and partnerships.
3. Handle VAT returns.
4. Provide bookkeeping services.
5. Identify and mitigate tax risks.
6. Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
7. Perform general admin duties to support Partners and Managers.

About You

1. Strong interest in Tax.
2. Analytical, methodical, and numerical skills.
3. Ability to multi-task effectively.

5. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
6. Good working knowledge of Word and Excel.
