We're looking for Operative to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks - South West Water based in Bodmin Depot.

Location: Bodmin Depot

Contract: Permanent

Our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks division brings the built environment to life, keeping people and businesses connected. In this role, you will work on our Southwest Water contract, providing repairs and maintenance services to ensure reliable, efficient, and high-quality drinking water and wastewater services.

What will you be responsible for?

As an Operative, you'll support the Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks - South West Water team in schemes including mains repairs, new connections, and metering, within a team that values collaboration. You will also play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of health and safety, ensuring a secure work environment.

Daily responsibilities include:

• Undertake planned or reactive work on water services, including mains repairs and installations
• Work efficiently within timescales and targets
• Update all relevant documentation on each job using a tablet
• Be part of a rapid response team delivering and restoring clean water around the clock

What are we looking for?

This role is suitable if you:

• Have previous utilities experience
• Hold a valid Full Drivers Licence
• Are willing to upskill; comprehensive training will be provided
