Position
An exciting opportunity has arisen a permanent Imaging Appointment Facilitator to join our busy admin team.
What you will do:
You will be dedicated to dedicated to CT bookings, you will take the lead on bookings, ensuring all appointment slots are fully utilised to maximise departmental capacity and resources.
You will monitor new requests arriving onto RIS, retrieve patient bloods results from Revive and transcribe the results onto RIS accurately and ensure the requests are directed appropriately. You will also be responsible for placing referrals for Phlebotomy using Trakcare system.
You will work closely with the Band 2 Clerical Officers, sharing your knowledge and supporting them to carry out their role effectively.
You will also be expected to undertake reception duties as rota’ed, receiving patients and visitors into the department in a friendly and polite manner, with a helpful approach and attitude.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
Vocational Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience.
You should have excellent knowledge of Medical Imaging policies and procedures, medical terminology knowledge, excellent IT skills and high level of interpersonal skills.

Hours:
37 per week. Shifts are worked over 7 days, shift times are 0745-1845 and 0900-2000, with 3 or 4 shifts worked each week.
Driving Licence/Car Ownership:
Car licence/Car ownership is essential to this role.
