Job Description: Offshore Travel Technician

The Offshore Travel Technician will work with a team of authorized technicians on Vestas offshore wind turbines (WTGs). Responsibilities include executing maintenance, upgrades, component exchanges, and blade campaigns across the Vestas Offshore WTG fleet, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe work practices in compliance with Vestas HSE standards
• Complete P.P.E checks and log monthly check sheets
• Communicate daily with Service Managers, Supervisors, and Project Managers
• Identify and coordinate deviations and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems
• Register time and material consumption accurately
• Perform maintenance, repairs, and component replacements

Qualifications

• Technical education in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (NVQ/HNC/HND/BTEC preferred)
• Experience with WTGs and technical documentation (not essential)
• Ability to interpret technical diagrams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and IT systems; SAP experience preferred
• Full Driving License
• Strong team motivation, communication skills, and ability to read technical drawings
