Leading Nium’s Europe Sales team, you will partner with industry leaders in various sectors including financial institutions, travel, and technology. You will collaborate with teams across functions such as account management, product, and compliance to deliver innovative payment solutions that foster business growth. Your role involves developing growth strategies for Europe, acquiring new clients, generating revenue, and motivating the business development team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement strategies to identify and pursue new enterprise opportunities across European markets.
  2. Lead and manage a high-performing team of enterprise sales executives to meet ambitious sales targets.
  3. Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset and effectiveness in Nium’s market propositions such as banking, financial services, cards, e-commerce, or payments.
  4. Consistently outperform past performance, demonstrate a track record of achieving financial targets, generating leads, negotiating, and closing deals.
  5. Generate revenue from clients and meet targets related to customer flows, revenues, and profitability.
  6. Apply business development and consultative selling skills to meet/exceed financial and customer satisfaction goals.
  7. Proactively seek opportunities through direct contact and partnerships, building relationships with key decision-makers in banks, financial firms, marketplaces, and eCommerce providers to generate qualified opportunities.
Requirements
  1. 15+ years of proven experience in business development or sales within Payments, E-Commerce, Cards, Financial Services, FinTech, or Banking Go-to-Market in Europe.
  2. Strong track record of exceeding sales targets.
  3. Ability to lead, motivate, and manage high-performing sales teams in Europe.
  4. Commercially focused, pragmatic, with the ability to identify opportunities and propose solutions.
  5. Empathetic approach to understanding and tailoring solutions for customers.
  6. Data-driven and analytical mindset.
  7. Results-oriented, client-focused, and committed to delivering value.
