Job description

An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered Nurse to work in an exceptional care home based in the Biggleswade, Bedfordshire area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.

This care home is designed for older people with dementia. The home provides a specialist nursing service for individuals with a diagnosis of mid-late stage dementia.

To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a current active NMC Pin.

As a Nurse, your key duties include:
  1. Providing leadership and support for support staff and acting as a champion for residents' safety and dignity.
  2. Maintaining skills and knowledge to ensure that care is delivered according to the latest guidelines and best practice evidence available.
  3. Ensuring the ongoing safety of service users, residents, staff, and visitors through systematic assessment, monitoring, and reviewing processes.
  4. Maintaining clear and accurate records and communication systems related to clinical and care delivery, and using them effectively.
  5. Acting as a role model for good clinical and care governance practice.
  6. Taking charge of the unit regularly and, in the absence of the management team, accepting responsibility for the smooth and effective running of the unit.
  7. Helping to maintain the security of the building and its environment.
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial:
  1. Previous older people's care experience is desirable but not essential.
  2. Caring and compassionate with an excellent clinical track record.
  3. Passionate about delivering outstanding care to older people.
  4. Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
  5. Quality-driven with a desire to continually improve yourself and our services.

The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £20.00 per hour, with an annual salary up to £45,760. We currently have permanent vacancies for both day and night shifts. In return for your hard work, you will receive the following generous benefits:
