**Care Home Nursing Role**
We're seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our care home team. As a Registered General or Mental Health Nurse (RGN or RMN), you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents. In this role, you'll have the chance to work collaboratively with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans. **Key Responsibilities:**
* Develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of our residents.
* Ensure accurate and timely care documentation, observing daily interactions and conditions.
* Organize and guide your team, ensuring everyone knows their role in delivering top-notch care.
* Oversee shift handovers, ensuring clear communication and continuity of care.
* Monitor residents' health, performing routine observations and managing specific health needs.
* Safely administer medications, adhering to MAR sheets and protocols.
* Build strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals, addressing concerns with empathy and urgency.
* Support residents in daily activities, encouraging autonomy while providing hands-on assistance as needed.
* Act on feedback, ensuring resident health and well-being are always prioritized.
* Uphold the dignity and individuality of every resident, advocating for their needs and preferences.
* Facilitate social interactions and activities, enriching the lives of residents and creating a vibrant community.
* Maintain a vigilant eye on health and safety, ensuring a secure environment for all.
* Advocate for balanced nutrition and hydration, monitoring residents at risk of weight changes or dehydration.
* Be prepared to act swiftly in emergencies, utilizing the on-call system and reflective practices to continually improve our care.
**Requirements:**
* Active NMC Nursing PIN.
* Passion for care and dedication to improving the lives of our residents.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
* Calm, patient demeanor, with the ability to remain composed under pressure.
