Tax Dispute Resolution Assistant Manager

We assist a diverse range of clients, from large multinationals to family businesses and individuals, providing bespoke tax solutions and senior-level advice to resolve complex tax issues with HMRC.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist in managing investigations and voluntary disclosures for a portfolio of clients.
  2. Prepare investigation reports, including computational aspects, for submission to HMRC, with oversight from managers or directors.
  3. Liaise with clients, HMRC, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of work.
  4. Prepare agendas and follow-up points for meetings with clients and HMRC.
  5. Support negotiations for settlements, providing technical case details and arguments.
  6. Assist with billing, collections, and identifying new business opportunities.
  7. Maintain professional networks and act as an ambassador for the firm.
Candidate Profile
  • Professional qualification (ACA and/or CTA) in progress.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation and excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Lotus Notes.
