Job Description

The O&M HSSE Manager will oversee the implementation and monitoring of HSSE programs and systems within ib vogt's O&M business.

1. Ensure compliance with all relevant HSSE regulations and standards.
2. Develop, implement, and manage HSSE programs for O&M.
3. Manage HSSE teams and subcontractors involved in O&M.
4. Coordinate with the O&M management team, ESG, and HSSE colleagues on HSSE and ESMS implementation.
5. Conduct site HSSE inspections as needed.
6. Record and report HSSE metrics and KPIs.
7. Maintain and develop operational HSSE tools, templates, and plans in collaboration with relevant departments.
8. Assess and manage contractors' HSSE qualifications and performance.
9. Identify local occupational health, safety, social, and environmental regulations in countries where ib vogt operates.
10. Provide coaching, mentoring, and support for HSSE program implementation on site.
11. Manage incident investigations, emergency preparedness, and PPE programs.
12. Ensure HSSE training programs are in place and effective.
13. Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
14. Act as escalation point for local HSSE issues.
15. Coordinate occupational risk prevention activities in operational photovoltaic plants.
16. Promote continuous improvement proposals in health, safety, and environmental practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or HSE-related field.
• Experience in construction, commissioning, or O&M energy projects.
• Previous on-site experience as HSE supervisor, officer, or manager.
• Experience managing HSE teams.
• Audit and inspection experience, preferably with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Basic knowledge of electrical installations.
• Relevant HSE certifications are advantageous.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
