Job Description

The O&M HSSE Manager will oversee the implementation and monitoring of HSSE programs across ib vogt's O&M operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing teams, and promoting safety and environmental standards.

1. Ensure compliance with HSSE regulations and standards.
2. Develop, implement, and manage HSSE programs for O&M.
3. Manage HSSE teams and subcontractors.
4. Coordinate with management and corporate departments on HSSE and ESG implementation.
5. Conduct site inspections and record HSSE metrics.
6. Maintain and develop HSSE tools, templates, and plans.
7. Assess and manage contractor HSSE qualifications.
8. Identify local occupational health, safety, social, and environmental regulations.
9. Coach and mentor on-site staff on HSSE practices.
10. Manage incident investigations, emergency preparedness, and PPE programs.
11. Ensure HSSE training programs are in place.
12. Engage with stakeholders and act as escalation point for HSSE issues.
13. Coordinate occupational risk prevention plans.
14. Promote continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental practices.

Qualifications

• Technical Bachelor's degree, preferably in HSE or related field.
• Experience in construction, commissioning, or O&M of energy projects.
• Previous site experience as HSE supervisor, officer, or manager.
• Experience managing HSE teams.
• Auditing experience (ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
• Technical knowledge of electrical installations.
• Relevant HSE certifications are advantageous.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
