Job description

The O&M HSSE Manager will be responsible for the implementation and monitoring of HSSE programs and systems across ib vogts' O&M business.

• Ensuring compliance with applicable HSSE regulations and standards across ib vogts' O&M business.
• Developing, implementing, and managing HSSE programs in O&M.
• Managing HSSE O&M and HSE subcontractor teams.
• Coordinating with the O&M management team, the corporate ESG department, and corporate HSSE colleagues on the implementation of the HSSE and ESMS in operational assets.
• Performing site HSSE inspections as required.
• Recording and reporting on HSSE metrics and KPIs.
• Preparing, maintaining, and advancing operational HSSE tools, templates, plans, etc., in coordination with the Head of EPC, O&M HSSE, and the O&M management team.
• Assessing and managing HSSE qualifications of contractors/subcontractors.
• Identifying local occupational health & safety, social, and environmental regulations and standards in countries with ib vogt O&M activities (based on agreement with Head of EPC and O&M HSSE).
• Assisting in coaching, mentoring, and implementing HSSE programs on site.
• Managing incident investigations, emergency preparedness, and PPE.
• Ensuring HSSE training programs are in place.
• Developing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Acting as the point of escalation for local O&M HSSE issues.
• Coordinating the Occupational Risk Prevention Plan with activities in photovoltaic plants during the O&M phase.
• Promoting and managing proposals for health, safety, and environmental improvements.
