We are part of the national Talking Therapies services, providing cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based psychological interventions via a stepped care model to individuals in the community with common mental health issues.

Our links with the Oxford Centre for Psychological Health include the Oxford Centre for Cognitive Therapy (OCTC) and the Oxford Institute for Clinical Psychology Training, hosted by the Trust. We promote innovation and research, collaborating with the Berkshire, Oxfordshire, and Buckinghamshire NHS Talking Therapies Collaboration, University of Oxford Department of Psychiatry, and Department of Experimental Psychology.

To support our expansion, we have developed pathways for working with patients experiencing anxiety and/or depression, including those with long-term physical health conditions such as cardiac disease. Our employment support services have been recognized by the Department of Works and Pensions and ERSA.

Role Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  1. Formulating, implementing, and evaluating therapy programs for complex problems presented by clients.
  2. Exercise autonomous professional responsibility for client assessment and treatment in line with the service.
  3. Providing specialist advice and consultation to other professionals, individuals, groups, and committees across various agencies.
  4. Providing supervision to staff involved in psychological services, including day supervision.

Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust provides physical, mental health, and social care across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Swindon, Wiltshire, Bath, and North East Somerset.

Services are delivered at community bases, hospitals, clinics, and homes, aiming to provide care close to home.

Our vision is that everyone receives: “Outstanding care delivered by an outstanding team”.

Our values are: “Caring, safe, and excellent”.

Benefits include:
  • Excellent opportunities for career progression
  • Access to tailored learning and development
  • 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing to 33 days with continuous service
  • NHS discounts across various shops, restaurants, and retailers
  • Competitive pension scheme
