Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions while working closely with technical experts dedicated to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex and critical tasks to maintain the nation's critical infrastructure connectivity and security 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution aligns with procedures and contractual KPIs. The role involves working within a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

Responsibilities:
  • Handle incoming calls and emails, responding according to KPIs.
  • Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
  • Action Service Requests.
  • Assign tickets to technical support, field engineering, and other service providers.
  • Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
  • Coordinate traffic management with relevant providers and teams.
  • Communicate incident updates to customers.
  • Coordinate with utility companies regarding power-related network issues.
Candidate Profile:

Previous experience supporting enterprise and service provider networks, preferably within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience in 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise across different levels of seniority.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
