Senior Data Engineer – ML / AI

Salary £80-100k + Benefits + Hybrid working

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join a growing Data team as the business invest in new AI based products for a recognisable brand.

The Senior Data engineer will develop and implement data science and machine learning algorithms to facilitate the development of new AI products and help shape Data Science strategy across the business.

This company offer flexible hybrid working with 1-2 days per week in their London office, they promote a positive company culture and are committed to investing in new technology and R&D.

Required skills and technologies

• 5+ years’ experience in a Data Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Scientist role, or similar
• Commercial experience with Machine learning, Deep Learning or Advanced Analytics, and relevant tools
• Strong background in Python, Pandas/Jupyter and AWS or GCP
• Good communicator, able to work across multiple teams

Desirable skills and technologies

• Commercial experience in an ecommerce or marketplace environment
• Experience of leading small teams or projects
• Commercial experience with GCP or GCP certified
• Strong mathematics background is preferred
