We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Project Manager to join our dynamic team.

About the Role

We’re looking for a highly capable Senior Data/Software Engineer who combines deep technical software engineering expertise with a strong understanding of data processing and analysis. This role is central to the development of scalable data systems and high-performance applications. You'll be working in a Linux-first environment, writing robust code in Python, Rust, C++ and contributing to a range of projects involving infrastructure, data engineering, and performance-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain high-quality, high-performance data pipelines using Python and Rust.
Write infrastructure-as-code for managing Linux-based systems and services.
Analyse large and complex datasets, writing custom tools and scripts where needed.
Collaborate across engineering and data teams to support data-driven decision-making.
Contribute to infrastructure projects and system-level programming as needed.
Review and work with code in Python, Rust, and occasionally C++ for integration or debugging.

What We're Looking For

Strong programming experience in Python and Rust (Rust is a significant plus).
Solid grasp of Linux environments; comfortable working deep in the OS.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
Proven track record in software engineering roles with strong exposure to data processing.
Comfortable wearing multiple hats—software development, data analysis, and infrastructure.
Ability to work independently, troubleshoot effectively, and avoid unnecessary dependencies.
A strong systems thinker with a low-level understanding of how data and computation interact.

Preferred Background

Experience in high-performance computing environments.
Previous work in gaming, trading, or similar industries where performance and data are critical.
Exposure to C++ is beneficial for understanding legacy systems or performance code
